Just been for a walk around the back of Gatehouse School and felt sadened to see the loss of school play area also the nature reserve which the children had a great fondness for: http://www.dawlish.com/photo/?id=41
I agree with Carer , you wouldn't take your kids into Thorntons to buy their sweets,also Presents have been selling chocolates for sometime now.

Good to see Thorntons moving into the Strand.
Maybe the councillors who voted to purchase the property in Park Road should get together and find a way raising the money themselves!! After all if you or I purchased a property in haste and then relised it not to be such a good idea who would bail us out.

It Can't be a good investment because if it was Mr W Protheroe would have snapped it up long before now!!!!!!!!
If Co-op own it why don't they get a move on instead of just getting builders in and banging a big hole in the wall and then no sign of anything happen.
