General Discussion

I hadn't noticed that, likeablerat, I don't bother looking up at the banners, nothing to look at really.

I am sure the electorate will have their say in next year's local elections, some present Councillors might be getting an unwelcome surprise.

@Likeablerat When have I ever suggested the Town Councillors are all "smock wearing bumpkins"?  You have made that up.  It's quite true I have disliked the banners from the first time I noticed them, they are totally unfit for purpose.  And I'm not at all bothered about your unhappiness at my comments, if you don't like them, then tough.

@Mrs C Clearly, whoever arranged the banners in Dawlish didn't have a clue.

You have to strain upwards to read the banners which are ridiculously small, just visit any other town to see how it should have been done.  And my eyesight is fine rat.

I doubt people even notice them, they are placed too high and are too small, waste of time and money.

I am quite sure you would prefer the pavilion fiasco to be quietly forgotten, I doubt the fallout from it will enhance your chances of electoral success next year.

You are quite right, Crow did live in a council house (but certainly not the one he was born and raised in), despite receiving a salary in excess of £140,000.  I'm damn sure social housing wasn't intended for people on that kind of money.

@Mrs C As I said to another poster at the weekend, you have no knowledge of my present domestic arrangements.

@Likeablerat Vickery is a politician and therefore subject to scrutiny, he has also been the lead Councillor driving forward the ill-fated wood louse proposal, which despite what he thinks, will not now go forward.  In my opinion he deserves all the flak which comes his way for trying to impose his folly on the town.
