Walking along the seawall last night I noticed, due to the stormy conditions the last few days, the brook outlet under the railway lines has been bloocked by a large amount of pebbles. In the photo you can see how high the water level is due to this blockage, although the sea was quite far out. This section of the brook should have been a few inches rather than a few feet. A few pics of more ignorant cyclist's on the Dawlish sea wall going through the barriers on their bikes. It would also seem the new signs on the barriers by the railway underpass have been forcebly removed. I wonder what type of person would commit this type of criminal damage? ignorant cyclists, maybe!

What is the actual problem of 'people are so desperate for places to live'? If there are so many people currently without a place to live why do we not see more people sleeping rough! They are obviously living somewhere. The issue seems to be there is a certain number of people who cannot afford to rent/buy their own home and are currently in unsuitable accomodation that does not meet the ...
'Distributed to charity' It's a shame that cleaning the streets of Dawlish and maintaining essential services does not come under this banner, or does it now!
How about homes that allow a certain independance from the utilities i.e. solar panels/mini wind power with battery back ups.....not selling back to the grid and then having to buy back at over inflated prices, Rainwater and waste water recycling, gardens big enough to grow vegetables etc. For developments over a certain size to have their own self contained sewerage systems that can store and ...
Exeter has nothing on central london. Just driving down Marleybone road you can count more traffic lights than Exeter most probably has in its entirety!
