Lovely idea Chef, and I'd happily buy and scoff a sizzled sausage after negotiating a supermarket, especially Sainsbury's who don't have a cafe. I aplaud your positive thinking. But I'll leave it to others to go into the H&S, food safety, environmental and insurance hoops that you need to jump through in the UK! As for chuggers, everyone needs to make a living, but...........

Given the amount of interest in trains (for example http://www.dawlish-seawall.com/ ) surely this must be be best viewing platform? Maybe the fisrt floor dedicated to Brunel? Together with the railway engine house (also pretty derelict) there has to be an reason for develpment. maybe

Dawlish auctions are happy to accept an (acceptable!) offer prior to auction. Well worth popping in and checking them out. I was in a similar position, and they were a great help.
So let's think about promoting events in other ways.
