Petrol has gone up because of an increase in oil prices was on the news teatime, the average price now is over 140p per litre. Sainsburys can keep theirs a bit cheaper as they are a large corporation, MG is a small business
I so agree with you Mark the only way forward, not just for us but everybody, Oil dependency must end
I think the small shops profit from being open all day on a Sunday, with the big boys being on restricted opening, and think it should remain like that. I for one do not want to waste what is my family day (Sun) shopping

Have just come back from the shops, and I am bewildered as to who thought up the routes for the diversions to do with the Strand closure. I agree sniper, my thoughts go out to the families of those 6 brave men and the ones that have gone before, we should pull out of Afghanistan. I never knew people could moan so much until I joined this forum, Ive looked back and most of the time its moan moan moan, lets all be thankful we still have our lives and make the most of it.
