For what its worth, I use either Mozilla Firefox or Opera browsers and have no problems viewing this site. I have not used IE for years, and find the above far superior to IE. As they are FREE, why not give them a try and see for yourself? You have nothing to lose.

@007 You obviously DONT read the local papers then. May I suggest that you do in future, so as to save you further embarrasment in asking a question when there is no need to thus showing your lack of local knowledge.
So, a couple of Dykes have called for a boycott of the pub because the landlord told them off for kissing in the bar. Well done to John Grindrod for standing up against it. It would make me more inclined to use the pub instead of boycotting it. Its a shame that more people dont stand up against such immoral acts. ITS NOT NORMAL.

Sorry DEI , but its NOT 'end of' as you so politely put it. 1] If it is going to be the co-op, then why have they taken so long to do it? 2] As Woolies is a listed building , how are they going to knock through?

Thats fair enough Steve, BUT there are a lot of people in Dawlish that DONT want that noise, but enjoy a pub where not only can you have a conversation, but eat and drink at a reasonable price without getting ripped off. Dawlish is NOT all about youngsters.
Seems it is not just a rumor. The person I heard talking about it is very knowldgeable in this matter, and reliable in her information. Anyone else heard anything?
