Radio 1 Big Weekend

Give it a rest Mrs C, you really are a pathetic old bint.

Ultimately it is the opinion of the taxpayer that matters, they, after all, funded this concert.

Yes, I have read the article and that is why I made the comment. It's all rather vague; who calculated the figures and how exactly do they know £1.7million was spent over the bank holiday weekend, have they asked all the businesses in the area for their trading figures?   And what area are they talking about, the whole of Teignbridge and Exeter maybe?  And how does that £1.7m figure compare ...

It does seem like that figure has been plucked out of the air.

I actually do not believe your figure, I think you need to do some better research.   But even if I did accept that figure, it is still eight billion too much.

You make our EU contributions sound like mere pocket money (£13-£18bn p.a., depending who you believe).  But for me it is far more than money, it is the fact that over the years various governments have signed away our sovereignty, and I sincerely hope on June 23rd the people reclaim it. Oh, and I still stand by my opinion of Hawking.

No idea, but I don't think she can be any worse than Hawking, who arrogantly thinks he knows it all.

1 Jun 2016

In that case, I think Mystic Meg would be your better bet.

1 Jun 2016

So you think that somebody who looks at the stars is an authority on EU matters?  More fool you.  I certainly won't be taking any advice from Hawking.

Hawking is a man with an opinion, just like everybody else.
