They were disqualified but dont think they were bothered, they were told before they left the Lawn that if they went there would be. But the winners Braking Wind achieved it without being disqualified

Soooooooooooooooo the Carnival Committee told David Rowlands that the "Brunny" didnt want the Pram Race or Carnival coming up Brunswick Place!!!!!
Mcjrpc what you suggest was tried in the Autumn of last year, the Carnival Committee refused to attend , with the exception of Ian Birdsey, who after the meeting was forced to resign
The Carnival used to have several business"s in the Town who used to sponsor individual events, the boards around the Lawn used to inform you and the adverts in the Carnival Programme. Fundraising events were held throughout the year, and by running stalls on the Lawn during Carnival Week, plus small concerns used to pay to have their rides etc Carnival week Rowlands used to have 2 rides their was ...

Big thank you to Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue service Concert Band. loved the music just a shame we had to leave early to go to Ipplepen for Carnival wish i could've stayed until the end of Concert & thank you to Step 2 Starz sorry to of missed your performance we also missed the Raft Race but we did have a fun night at Ipplepen taken from their own fb page, no interest in Dawlish Carnival ...
correct me if Im wrong but I think what User 4549 is referring to is the money that was in the Dawlish Carnival Accounts before they changed to a CIC
