I never buy a newspaper national or local. Its only gossip. By the time it's printed its not news. I have local news hourly on the radio, BBC 24 news instant online and Whats on TV mag is online for TV listings. I dont spend £5 a week on daily papers inc those weekend £1 junk papers ..rather pay my broadbamd charge. I use the free Dawlish paper for packing lol.

They are a right sad lot .. look at em stood outside The Lansdowne. Clearly have plenty of money to spend.. what a waste.
I expected that .. you have to use your brain to work out betting odds .. but not to pick up a pint. Can always judge any town by the number of pubs it has.
I sgree. How many pubs in Dawlish?.. include the Legion and Clubs.. from Ths Swan to the sea its about 14.. what does that say, when people moan about two betting shops.
So true. I wish those who dislike Dawlish would move away, only then will it be a far better place. Look on the forum, if someone does make a 'positive' point it does not take long before someone kills the positive. Negative thrives a negative mind.
I think they enjoy jumping around the pathways and flowers at the Lawn.. i have a feeling they would still happen if the skate park was built.. so maybe money could be spent better.

Put yourself up for MP then .. face the abuse .. but will you get the vote?
Is strange .. but rest assured if anyone is brave to start a new shop locals will stand back and wait for it to go down, thank goodness for tourists. Of course the shop be expected to have collection boxes for various town fund raising.
