General Discussion

Viaduct asked: what sort of building is it going to be for £3m? A bloody good one that will provide many great benefits for our town. Our thanks go to the various bodies that have worked hard to secure the funding from a multitude of sources.

Putting 2 and 2 together, it looks like User4549 is saying that fel-669 is Julian Lawley - the former warden of the aviary? Over to you fel-669. And who is "Martin"?

Oh dear User4549 - you forgot to change your user name from when you were posting lazy racism at 6am this morning. Like you say, it's all to easy to find out who is who.

Oh dear, lazy racism. I wonder which one of the mob it is? Racism is often excused amongst the more older aged citizens, because "it's a generation thing". I say bollocks. Racism is racism and it has no part in the 21st century, no matter how old you are.

Out of genuine interest, why are they concerned?

My criticism is reserved for the lorry driver who admitted doing over 40 mph in a 30mph zone through a small village. He is an "offender", because he admitted the offence. He admitted putting the lives of adults and children alike at risk. The fact that he was so desparate to find any kind of loophole suggests that his livelihood was at risk because he probably had so many points on his licence ...

Why start a new thread? Oh, because you love the sound of your own voice. Rather than just bandying your opinion around as if it were fact, can you please explain what bits of the article it is that you describe as "rubbish".

Who's Martin?

Thank you for the info. So it was a technicality, I thought as much.

Hi User4549. :) That's very interesting. Do you know on what technicality it was that the offender was able to get away with it?
