Proud to be English. Oops, flying the cross of St George in my own country. Does that make me a racist and NON PC as I might offend someone?
@ Mcjrpc Well go on then. What you waiting for?
Hi all. Just to let you know that (if you haven't seen the posters) that there is a craft fair upstairs at 'the Legion' tomorrow, Saturday 30th Nov from 11am till about 4pm, maybe later or earlier depending at how busy it is. Home made greetings cards, professionally printed greetings cards, artists (blank) canvases and other materials are amongst the items for sale, so bring plenty of ...
@smella . After reading through this forum post, I can only say that you are one of the minority of people in this country who shout Racist at the most trivial of matters. You sound like the footballer Rio Ferdinand, who apart from being black (will I be called a racist for using that word?) is one of the most racist players in that game. My advise is forget where you came from ...
@smella . (and anyone else who may be interested) As you are into knitting, you may be interested in visiting the Craft Fai r upstairs at the Royal British Legion in Park Road tomorrow, Saturday 30th, 11am -4pm ish. Good luck to all those taking part in tomorrows (10/11/13) parade, which I believe begins at 2:45pm. I hope the weather stays good for you. Many thanks also to Dawlish Branch RBL for all you have done. You are a wonderful organisation and and a great asset to this town, which you have proved with the Party in the Park events of the past few years.

What a complete waste of a food product. I wonder how many people actually use the flesh as a ...
Limited Budget/on a pension 15 eggs at Lidl. £1:25 6 or is it 5 Doughnuts at Sainsburys. £1, where as 60p each at bakers. Why is it wrong and made to feel guilty to shop elsewhere when one is on a limited budget? If I was at work and earning plenty of £££'s per week, then yes, I would shop locally but as I am not, then every penny counts.
@ Fred Is that right, Nightfreight are moving? If so, do you know why and where to? Anyway, as for their building, it is not worth doing anything to it except demolish it. When I was working there 10 years ago the place was a complete mess then, so what it's like now, I wouldnt like to say.
@ BB You have mentioned about the 'special relationship', but where were they when Argentina invaded the Falklands? At long last, we have a PM who has listened to the public and said no, and about time also. I am not a tory supporter but he has earned my respect for doing that.
