Sunday Trading Hours

Agree with you Brazilnut...clearly people are happy to pay more for their items, someone has to pay for 7 days a week lighting etc, pennies would have to go on. So then a small shop with no staff, the owners are expected to work every single day of the week! ..Lovely! Also imagine if pubs closed like they use to at 1030-11pm ...look at the money that would save on Police funds and NHS...perhaps ...

POP UP SHOPS

Good idea.. but dont think people realise what it costs to stock a shop up ..then the risk that people will not support. It normally takes 3 years to get known and start to profit, let alone be accepted!

I agree too wirh what Wriggler says...Honiton yes, Totnes? too. As said above, its time to call time on this ...Dawlish people voted with their feet...when Barclays left, then HSBC it was obvious people were not banking too ...

Maybe Steve they are ok in Exeter Rydon, I have never been there. I noted (3 yrs ago tho) at Newton Tesco the checkout staff make you feel you are bit of a nuisance being there. I think Tesco is the clever one though with adverts ..you think you will get a bargain if you go there. They have just had their worst trading figures for years. I do know Asda are very particular on staff and I am sure ...

Mind..Tesco employ 'grumpy' staff, as Newron proves. Sainsburys and Asda are very 'selective' and so they should be.
