You've achieved your aim Margaret (or should that be "Councillor Swift"????)? You're suggesting that without you there wouldn't have been this public consultation. As you know, that's not true is it?
Bob Vickery, you're wrong in my opinion. The only problem is actually those dog owners who wantonly allow their dogs to shit on our beaches. Those of us that have children or grandchildren will understand.
200-300 is a ridiculous exaggeration by the police. Not even close!
Dogs shouldn't be allowed on any part of that beach (or in fact any beach) during the summer months.

The official pram race was already being organised by the Forces, and was not dependent on the grant being approved.
