Let's show our support by lining the route tomorrow (9th Nov) afternoon and cheering/applauding those who take part. Fly the flag. Wear your Poppy with pride. I will, and I do.
A lot of them congregate on the Exe estuary around the Cockwood (especially on the golf course at high tide) and Starcross area and up at Bowling Green Marsh in Topsham. You will also find lots of them at the far end of the Warren. Cant say I have seen them in the Teign estuary though.
What a great picture of the members of Dawlish Royal British Legion standing to attention behind their standard under the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium , and what a great honour for you all to be able to do that. Well done lads, and lasses.. Once again, you have done Dawlish proud. Thank you.
@Clive By looking at the reports, it was the Canadian 'Lanc' and will have to have a replacement engine. Good luck to the crew when they return home.
@roberta Exactly the same with Party in the Park. More chance of getting blood out of a stone.
Have a great day everyone , and how pleasurable it is to look on the 'net' to see what is going on without the threat of being sued for copyright. A real professionaly organised event.
But isnt that the Apache on the ground?
Yet another (bad) example of 'How to Win Friends and Influence People' by the Farley's. The FCC (Farley Carnival Committee) obviously think that they are a secret society. Look at the webmasters responce to an earlier post by Ziggy here. It is the 2nd from bottom reply. Are they from Uranus?
@Michael Many thanks for that Michael. Very much appreciated.
