Take a read of the editorial headed "National leaders fail to address local needs" on page 10 of this week's Dawlish Post.

You will remember there was a strike by some NHS staff earlier this week about their not receiving a 1% pay rise. There is an editorial in this week's Dawlish Post on page 8 headed the "National Wealth Service" which refers to that strike whilst pointing out that the trust that runs Torbay Hospital is presently looking for a new chief executive. As far as I remember they had to pay half the full fare. But even that might have been too much for some to be able to afford. And mobility scooters are not suitable for all people or all terrains.
