Waitrose car park in Exeter is patrolled by a private parking firm you may not be aware but your reg no is booked in and out watch out for the womble with the handheld PC wearing a green hi-vis. This wont be the only Teignbridge car park going private as several more are earmarked for sale as development oppertunities.
Do you not find it funny that when the railway line needs repairing every man and his dog appears on the scene within a couple of days. If there new houses the windows wont be big enough to let much light in anyway. Wooden shacks dont have big windows as they let the heat out, and the developers have to consider thermal efficiency etc. Cant understand why anyone would waste money buying one may as well buy a mobile home on the Warren.
@Lynne you know as well as i do how these things are dealt with at TDC. everything will be decided behind closed doors and the general public will only be informed when someone like millwoods or our mate Gerald from shutterton park submit a planning appliction. by that time its to late to do anything about it.
The biggest change will be the building of more houses in its place, public facilities are no longer on the agenda as they cost to much to run. Dont forget that Tesco wont be far behind either

How much do TDC get from national government for every new house built was it £10,000 each plus any section 106 money they can squeeze in addition. I doubt they are going to refuse any such planning requests when they have peoples farms to buy in order to cover up thier past mistakes
