Town enhancement

Interesting. I don't know why you have it in for the Luscombe estate, but I think we need to concentrate on the actual town centre and sea front first. And we don't want the NIMBYs complaining about all those tourist coaches driving past their former greenfield homes to get to the estate, do we?!

Well said Willos! Definitely no onslaught from this direction! Positive Mental Attitude! Now we need some Positive Physical Action from the townsfolk.

Is 007 on the wind up?? Yes to Sainsbury, no to Tesco. Although a Tesco Express on the Strand might be an idea!!!

They would be more ballsy if the said what they were going to DO to improve the town!!! People like them are leading us to fall farther and farther behind Teignmouth and Exmouth.

I agree Sniper and have said the same before on here. Unfortunately there are plenty of people willing to moan, but who are unwilling to get off their arses and make a difference. Please feel free to organise something FOR an improved Dawlish, as opposed to those pathetic little englanders like Roy and Mary East who prefer to be AGAINST everything. I'd be more than happy to lend a hand to anything ...

Viaduct

Good point Gatepost. Just look over to Exmouth and see the attractive lighting along the length of their prom. Investment and acceptance of change has improved Exmouth, just like it has in Teignmouth. The sea facing seating and ...

The whole structure is to be a similar colour to the granite abutments and piers, a spokesman for the company said. She added: ‘The top chord will be painted in a colour similar to that of the Dawlish sea cliffs, in accordance with the suggestion made following consultation with the ...

Bravo Wriggler! That's the most sensible commentary that I've read during this one-sided 'debate'.

Any chance of some action now please? 1. He's admitted he only posts to elicit a reaction. 2. He never posts anything pertinent to Dawlish (other than about the webcam that he watches from afar. 3. His foul and abusive language is beyond the pale. Three strikes and out?

So you admit that you've come on here just to get a reaction? How sad is your life. For your information, not a drop has passed my lips, other than blackcurrant cordial. If you lived in Dawlish, you might see me doing my 5 mile run every Mon, Wed and Fri evening after work - and any fool knows that alcohol and exercise don't mix. Peace out and goodnight.
