@Andylufc . Yes, it's open between Coastguard Cottages and Coryton Cove. You could take the cliff path from Dawlish Warren and come out by the Texaco garage then walk along Exeter Road to Coastguard Cottages and cross the bridge to the beach. Granted it's not a walk along the seawall but it's not all road either.

Do you know if it's NR or FGW in charge of station repairs?
When I walked along I noticed the unbelievably shabby job that's been done to the station platform that's visible from the beach. The wood has been treated/stained on the platform side (for Dave's benefit?) but from beach side it's clearly messy and unfinished. Will it be completed professionally or is that it?
Maybe they're waiting to see what interest there is in buying it as a whole before pursuing it piecemeal, but it's poor form not to reply. When I come to sell my house I won't use them.
