I think Boris will win a decent working majority, but no way will the Lib Dems come second.  I would dearly love to see the bouffant Bradshaw get kicked out in Exeter, but as with Plymouth, the high student population and dodgy voting will ensure his survival.

Anyone care to have a go at predicting the result? My prediction is Big majority for Boris. Lib Dems second, Labour third. Brexit Party win in Exeter and Plymouth.

The £85,000 per year salery for her role as police commissioner is probably not her only income sorce as the job obviously comes with additional benifits. What about her pension and golden handshake payment when she leaves the post. Pretty shure the police authority would benifit financially without her.

@ Fredbassett I agree, electric cars are a con. The Green New Deal is just a con too, its an opportunity for corporations make huge profits from the coming 'green industrial revolution'. They see it a as huge opportunity.

@Margaret Swift I agree with with a radical reform of managment. But it's also about people taking more responsibility for their own health and educating themselves about how diet and lifestyle is linked to many modern diseases. Ideallly help should be given to those to quit addictive unhealthy behaviours such as smoking, alcohol consumption, over-eating (especially junk food). As this ...

@ burnside I believe all western countries have a moral obligation to poorer less developed countries. Expecially those former imperial powers such as Britain that have developed and grown wealthy at the expense of past colonies. Why do you think thousands of migrants leave their homelands? Those migrants would die if boats didn't patrol the Channel. And many do. They're not welcoming ...

As per Alison Hernandez  police and crime commissioner  (£85,000 per year salary ) budget and  annual pleas for more money consider what Devon and Cornwall police  bought tiotalling £26,970. -9000 glitterbugs -2000 tins of mints -1000 toothbrush sets -21000 pens 1000-lip balms 250 water bottles. Nope I have no idea either.................!!!!! perhaps she could respond via ...

Just spotted something very interesting on the Met office web site. Its a pie chart showing the breakdown of the biggest greehouse gas generators which is directly a main cause of global warming and climate change. So relating it to the industry im involved in and it shows Electric cars and the increasing promotion of them is nothing but a giant con. The biggest air polluter is the generation of ...

What the majority of the public don't know and realise is the vast amount spent on managers who are not frontline staff, have no line of sight with patients, Drs, nurses or therapists and work in premises not connected to hospitals yet are paid vast salaries for 'managing'! When the NHS was set up this level and scope of management was not required and I would say is not required now. I would even ...
