@brooklyn bridge Contact your local MP and Hernandaz the loco crime commisioner after all she pleaded for more rates money to recruit more police officers and ends up and buying tazers. No doubt the begging bowl will come out next march saying she needs more money due to covid.

I was shocked at what I heard this afternoon walking my dogs. I came across our PCSO for Dawlish, and just having a chat about the state of the country and the world. The PCSO had a call from the Sargent in Totnes about an incident in the town and needed the PCSO to attend. The PCSO explained that the Teignbridge area would have no cover if it meant that attendance in Totnes is required. But ...
Well I guess the town council wanted to help out the town centre businesses in whatever way they could. And if that meant spending money on window stickers then that is what they have done. Every little bit of financial support helps. I know no more than you. If anyone is interested in 1) why the window stickers were provided by the town council and/or 2) why they cost just over £650 ...
Every shop I have been in, be it small or large, has had its own abundant sinage all over the place. I think spending £657.60 on window stickers is hardly a necessary expense.
I thought for one moment there that I'd be agreeing with you @burneside (one day pigs will fly...) having seen the markings on the Strand pavement yesterday when I was in the town. Told "No, if you were a private patient you could have a check-up". So I said "Nothing to do with health and safety then, all to do with money". Receptionist said she appreciated how bad that sounded but NHS dental guidelines ...
Initially i would wear a p3 respirator and goggles when going to the supermarket eaxh fortnight, but the amount of stress that induced in me days before i actually shopped was terrifying. looking at the info on the internet and the fact that the stats foir this virus have been poorly managed to include any and all deaths the last few months. i decided not to wear my ppe and emtionally felt a ...
"I for one wont be wearing a face covering of any description as im not a muslim". I wasn't aware we had to wear a Niqab Fredbasset, where did you get that idea from?
Walking through town earlier I noticed about half a dozen of the pavement stencils, if they cost 800 quid then the council has been robbed.
