Some airlines are looking a bit scummy during the current pandemic. Lay off their workers straightaway, including ones that have worked for them for decades. Immediately ask for government bailouts. Not refunding customers when they legally have to. Keep asking for restrictions to be lifted knowing it will cause people to die. Also they are happy to fly to a terrorist country or ...

Just wait for all the skate boarders, scooters and push bikes. The sea wall path is lovely and smoooooooooth.

Lots of people on the wall, looks very smart and the start of an attractive sea front promenade.

Parking Restriction in the Strand From 24 Jul 2020 to 31 Aug 2020 Dawlish Town Council's Temporary Traffic Restriction Order for parking restrictions between 10am and 3pm each day on the Strand will come into force from 27th July to 31st August to allow for social distancing at a peak holiday time. It does not include loading bays, disabled parking bays or the Strand car park.

You are so right Fred! It really is a Heath Robinson job down here! They have been building a Noah's Ark type structure out of wood for days, which is supposed to be the viewing platform for those in wheelchairs. I still can't work out what the finished product will look like but I'm sure it will prove to be a wonderful amenity for those with skateboards once it's covered in concrete! ...

Has anybody seen a copy of the official Traffic Order granted by the dept of transport that DCC have a legal requirement to obtain before instigating these restrictions. I very much doubt they have applied for and been granted such, in which case the restrictions are unenforceable and the signage is just another waste of tax payers money. No doubt the idiot Stuart Huges is behind this.
