@Deedoodle (and anyone else interested in following this through) suggest contact Cllr Val Mawhood about who owns the land (I've just checked and TDC does not) and once that is ascertained, whether or not vehicles are allowed on it (I'm thinking especially of dogs off lead, and small children). Cllr Mawhood is a mine of information concerning Dawlish and on top of that look where she lives! ...

Just had a walk down by St Gregory's Church and as I came out of the grounds towards Dawlish Water. I was surprised to see about 20ish fairly old people (60-80 ) sitting on chairs in a tight circle behind Newhay Close on the field. My concern was that they were all within arms length of each other and not wearing masks. A few of them had even driven their cars along the footpath and parked on the ...

Happened to be in town yesterday and noticed that the 'For Sale' sign that had gone up back in June is no longer there. So thought I'd click on the estate agents link that I posted above. When I posted that it back in June it gave details and pictures of the property. Just tried the link again - now just a blank page.
