Just the one, It's because (I assume) that it is so complex that they would have to brief a colleague so much they feel it wouldn't be worth it and it be better for us to wait. They just dare not say that. 3 months of stress we will need a holiday soon

Well I've never heard anything like it, We were mean't to complete on a business and property purchase a couple of weeks ago, our solicitors (Exeter) decided there was a slight issue that needs resolving adding 2 weeks (ie now) but this week have now informed us that they are going on holiday for 2 weeks and therefore exchange will not happen until their return. What a shame you haven't got someone on board that has extensive knowledge of the procedures and legalities surrounding this issue, that could challenge and hold TDC to account. You could try a couple of things with regards your deposit, 1. Approach TDC asking them to put forward the deposit, they will make their decision based on your circumstances and your needs. 2.
