Married Couple, No Children or Pets looking for Private housing in Dawlish or Surrounding Area's. Must be private landlords as cannot afford Estate Agent Deposits. If you think you can help please drop us a line. Must move to lower floor flat due to ill health. Once deposit returned from Landlord be willing to give new Landlord at least £500/£600 towards rent up front as well.
NB: Claiming Disability Living Allowance due to condition.

Sorry I can't help you in any practical way Paul (like pointing you in the direction of suitable accommodation) but my best wishes are with you in your quest to find the accommodation you need.
Have you thought about approaching any of the local Housing Associations to see if they can help?
You could try a couple of things with regards your deposit,
1. Approach TDC asking them to put forward the deposit, they will make their decision based on your circumstances and your needs.
2. As you are in receipt of benefits you could apply for a crisis loan (which is repayable).
3. You could arrange a transfer of deposit from the holding company direct to the new holding company (this takes quite a lot of planning).
4. Some private landlords accept deposit certificates issued by charities.

so Paul unless you get extra rental assistance your looking at £95 a week, roughly £410 a month, I can't see a lot of rental in Dawlish at that kind of money.
