Why don't you ask a member of the local council? That's what I did and got a positive response.

Local produce market
23 Aug 2008

I have just had some feed back from a member of Dawlish Town Council. The Producers Market will be opening in October, the Town Council have been working on the idea since April.

I will contact someone from the council and see what response I get.

I see Teignmouth is to have a local produce market on the third Saturday of every month. It is being organised by Teignbridge District Council, with the support of Teignmouth Town Council and Devon County Council. There is also going to be a FREE bus service from Shaldon and Bishopsteignton. It is hoped it will encourage people to use the service to support the market and at the same time to ...

Check out the thread on the backyard about Alcohol on the lawn. It explains why the police can't do anything.

Don't forget it's that time of year again! As from 1st April no dogs on the beach at Dawlish Warren. Dog's are allowed on Dawlish beach from the viaduct towards the Warren within 150yards approaching red rock.

FLOODING
15 Mar 2008

AT LAST!!!! Flood signs along the Exeter Road. The road has been flooded most of the day and it's now 18.00hrs and we have flood signs put up. Maybe they waited until they were paid extra time? There are approximately 6 drains between the Rockstone Flats and the Catholic church and 5 of them are always blocked. Why aren't they cleared regularly? Is that not we pay part of our council tax for?

Dawlish Visit
10 Feb 2008

The weather is lovely for the time of the year. Good for a walk along the beach from Dawlish to the Warren. What a shame the beach is still a mess, not only the usual rubbish but in the last couple of days there have been dead fish and seagulls. Hope it gets sorted before you holiday people arrive!

Dawlish beach is a mess at the moment. Dawlish Warren is o.k. Plenty of sand. We don't rely on the council to do anything, so I wouldn't hold your breath on this one.
