Yet again Dawlish has excelled itself and really does deserve it's reputation as being a complete pit! We decided as a family to host a French student this year, we have a lovely polite boy aged 15 staying with us who is a credit to his parents. The same cannot be said of the English tatooed and pierced yobs that hang around drinking all day on the lawn that taunt and physically attack the French students as they walk past! Where do they get the booze from? Where are the police and why aren't they removing them? Where are their parents? and why do we have to put up with it anymore? My 7 year old is already terrified of teenagers and I also find them intimidating at times. So much for our tourist industry, who would want to come here on holiday?

You ask,"Where are their parents?"
What parents? That is the trouble, they are non existant.
I have seen children as young as 10-12 years old at Tuck's plot as late or early as one o'clock in the morning.
Do their parents care?
