For What??
Does anyone know why the Brewery Pub along the High Street is closed?
Just read in the Express & Echo the staff at Dawlish Stokes are to keep their jobs.
Why is the new youth centre in Sandy Lane closed in the school half term week? I walked by there this evening and saw a woman get out of her car to check opening times and couldn't believe it was closed. I thought it was going to be a youth centre for the youth of Dawlish, it seems to be more of a college training centre opening only in school term time!!!!

Dawlish Stokes is one of the shops saved (for now) Newton Abbot has gone. As for the Co-op it doesn't have the same selection, I went in there the other day for some chillies and was told oh we don't sell chillies! I was told today the only reason the Co-op bought Woolworths was so no other food chain would get in there, eg Tesco.

I believe a few people were resigning. The carnival committe AGM is on the 17th November from 7.30 at the Manor House. Could be interesting!!
