Looking at one of the last topics mademe think I was reading the Daily Mail,who has the right to tell anyone what to put here unless of course it is abusive. I noticed there are less people thsn usual contributing is this because there are those out there who dislike anything they dont agree with and have stopped free debate
We dont want to be like Torquay it has a lot of crime and a big drug problem and the same sort of visitor as we get. People come here for what it is a quiet seaside town. Why change, what is working well. British resorts are fighting the ever growing package holiday, which are often cheaper than say a caravan at the Warren. Upmarket holidays would cost even more No amount of art gallerys ...
Had email back from someone at the town council there are 4 adult 4 junior swans and 6 cygnets. The Mallards are wild and not councils responsibility than doesnt explain diminishing numbers or other breeds not being around.

I sent them an email asking where the swans and water fowl have gone didnt ask if they would put it on the agenda. Even the Prime Minister has open question time. Suppose they need them in writing to fabricate their answers and if they are trickly questions refuse to put them of the agenda Democracy?

Get real. Most of the tourist stay at the Warren not a place the more discerning visitor would want to stay.

Dont know where you go but I have encountered a lot of racism in this town have fallen ot with people over it. The bigots round here havent got the nerve to say it face to face to someone from a different race. Go to the thread about Paradise Palace its mentioned there. Never understood it myself as there are very few people from different races here. I have lived and worked in London people ...
