Wonder whether this will encourage either DCC or TCC to start a 6th form?
Hello all, ok been here for nearly 2 years now and have not found the best hairdressers in Dawlish yet. Can anyone recommend one?
So it would cost me £17 for a family of 4, plus parking at Starcross. I think that may be a bit excessive for a days shopping. Family return would be good though, makes it more affordable, although, if I was going alone, £5 isn't that bad. Bloody kids, no wonder I never have any money lol, kidding, love 'em really.
I'd welcome it, not having to drive anywhere to go clothes shopping and being able to make a day of it with a long lunch and a couple of glasses of wine...bliss. I've never used the ferry from Starcross, how much is it and how much does it cost to park there for the day?
I think it's a shame more locals didn't turn up though, my kids go to one of the two primary schools in Dawlish and didn't see one other kid they knew there.
Thankyou for the weblink wondering, will have a good look tomorrow. I will look tomorrow (when not had wine) to see what proposed nfor Dawlish in near future

IMO, unless you yourself make the effort to find out what's going on, things just appear to have been decided without peoples knowledge and ...
I didn't really want any supermarket at all! I admit, coming from a town that had Asda, Tesco and Morrisons to a town that didn't have anything at all was a bit of a culture shock, but then I discovered the pleasure of walking round the local shops a couple of times a week to buy what I need. I find I spend less overall because I have a list in my head of exactly what I need and because I'm not ...
We moved here 15 months ago and hope never to leave. It has it's bad points, doesn't everywhere? But the good points far outweigh them
Take something very loud with you when you go out and if you find the way blocked, use it as a car would it's horn, you'd soon make your point lol. I used to have to step out onto a busy 2 lane road with a pushchair where I used to live, to avoid cars parked on the pavement, eventually I accidentaly scratched the car with the pushchair, surprisingly, this solved the problem!
