Regenerator's Posts on Dawlish Discussion
Yes, I agree The Strand would give it much more publicity by the mere fact that so many more people go there than Park Road. And yes, I think it is very nice. What Dawlish needs. A movement up-market. Although looking at other strands on Backyard I suspect it will be attacked just like Number One Cafe for being pretentious or some such nonsense.
Nice to see two new shops opened up in town 1. Moose - next door to Dawlish Trader in Brunswick Place. Sells 'young surfer' type gear. 2. DawlishBlue - 4 Park Road (between Gazette offices and Bob's Bike shop). Photo gallery. www.anthonytsteel.co.uk Go and take a look.

For a copy contact the the Town Council - email: townclerk@dawlish.gov.uk Totally agree that Dawlish could so easily be a year round attraction - railway, walks, birdwatching. Fling in some art ...
A bit pompous don't you think, that message on the website? Please ask yourselves this question. When that document goes public will it be for public information (ie it will have already been decided what is going to happen) or for public consultation (ie it is still open for grabs what is going to happen). In other words are the people of Dawlish to have a genuine input into how the town should ...
