Glyndebourne comes to Devon at last! Two evening performances featuring La Boheme on 6th August and The Marriage of Figaro on 7th August, take place in the Castle's Inner Courtyard, staged by the world famous touring company Opera Brava. Reserved seating only, evening dress encouraged, and glorious picnicking in the Castle Gardens.

Superstar boy band Westlife are to play their only Westcountry concert this year at Powderham Castle. The Irish singing group, who have clocked up 12 number one UK hits and record sales of 30m, will perform in the castle grounds on Monday 2nd August. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Monday 2nd February. Up to 20,000 fans are expected to pay £26.50 each to watch them perform live on Powderham's outdoor ...
