Mackerel fishing contest between the old Coastguard station and Coryton Cove for two classes. Firstly 16yrs and under, and over17yrs. Mr Ian Jones will present the trophy. for the greastest weight of mackerel in each category. Entry fee is £1 for those over 17yrs and 50p for 16yrs and under.

The airshow is due to start at approximately at 12.30 and finish about 17.15 The 2008 procession starts at about 19:30 runs for about 2½ miles through the town centre and the procession itself can reach up to over a mile in length! Whether you take part or sit back and watch it's a great start to the evening.
