Can't see any flats listed on the plan. Any affordable housing wouldn't go to local people anyway due to the Devon Home Choice Scheme. One parking space for each unit provided. It doesn't look like a bad development for my old school.

I live in Holcombe and have had 28 tonne tipper trucks driving up the lane next to my house for months now (as witnessed by the demolished wall opposite my house). I just live with it. Someone's doing some work....so what? But then I'm not yet a whinging git!

AKA The Widows Penny. Worth about £100.....if anyone would want to buy it.

I'm with Monty on this. The problem will only get worse until the Home Choice Schemes are stopped. If you live in a big city,. on benefits, why would you not want to come to the seaside and receive the same benefits? Our biggest problem down here is not migrants from abroad; it's migrants from the UK. And please don't tell me that this town hasn't changed since Home ...

Judas H Priest. This is why I only look at this site sparingly. Someone asked about crabs then insullts happen. I think the crabs are used in lobster and other pots which is why they are left. The more 'stinky' the better when used as bait.

@slargemail How's that 5th column looking now you naive buffoon? RIP to all those who died in Paris & my heart goes out to the families and those injured.

The Govt. want HAs to take over the responsibility for building social housing. They're not doing a bad job of it but need more public money. By definition a HA is not-for-profit so only has limited resources of its own to plough back in annually.

Based on what DJ is saying then, if your travelling towards Exeter you could use the right hand lane and go straight on? That won't work. Normally, if there are 2 lanes going into a roundabout and only one lane on each exit, there will be signage and arrows on the road to indicate the lane. There aren't any on this roundabout.

Who's still here then?

So taking on the Nazis was 'State Sponsored Terrorism' was it? Because IS/ISIS/ISIL are absolutely no different in my view. Therefore if they are not confronted by countries like the UK who's going to do it?
