Surely the council have public liability insurance why not for damage

What about putting collection boxes in retail outlets. Where my daughter lives they are doing it for a playpark and its going well.

Other ways of collecting money. Have a collection box in every retail outlet,you would be surprised how much money these generate. Ask the carnival commity. Was the old play park insured for damage?

I am up north for christmas in a town about the same size as Dawlish.
