There are a group of these lycra clad idiots that ride around the Tesco to Kingsteignton area of Newton Abbot early on Sunday mornings (car boot time ish) We have witnessed them bating car drivers into confrontation on more than one ocassion. With all these cuts to toilets, verge cutting, green bin emptying, turning off of street lights, etc and our elected TDC councillors not fighting Dawlish.s corner. Just wondered if we can expect a reduction in our council tax bills next year.

Having read the story in the Gutsache about the feuding councillors I would like to support the abandoning of the neighbourhood plan, as having attended one of the original meetings it bears no resemblence to what the people of Dawlish wanted. Also fail to understand cllr Prouse's objection to the immoral comment under the current activities of TDC in Dawlish
The highways agency budget only covers motorways and major A roads. The comment refers to how much DCC and TDC have recently spent on roads and especially in the area covered by the said cycle path. 17 million spent on a cycle path - nothing spent on the roads - repeated moans about budget cuts and lack of funding and now they give themselves an award for wasting our money in this way.
To follow on. Redrow homes will not provide details of any extra land they will be providing for SANGS and Ted Hockin is not responding to emails on the subject. This is going to turn out to be a fiasco just like the s106 demands that the Sainsbury's development failed to deliver until TDC gave in to the ammendments requested by the developer.
There's some chaps redoing the road markings just now. Not repairing any of the pot holes just painting around them. What a total waste of time and money.
