@Carer What percentage of the 13,500 estimated population of Dawlish actually bothered to vote. I think that answers your question dosent it

Very interesting point being made here. Perhaps someone responsible for the position of this particular bench so close to the road could come forward and explain. Wouldnt be connected with a certain use of the lawn would it ???????? Strange how the H & S assessments never spotted this one ermmmm

As far as my understanding goes the lawn actually belongs to the people of Dawlish and was left to them for the provision of public entertainment. Therefore neither Dawlish or Teignbridge councils have a 100% right to say what goes on the lawn. Their only commitment is to ensure its maitainance on behalf of its owners ie ourselves Dawlish rate payers. What Dawlish council did last year calling for ...

And me they cant even use the ones marked on the car park by Scala house but obstruct the public spaces when visiting their office, to bloody lazy to walk a dozen extra steps.

The town centre of Dawlish is a difficult place to run a business from due to most of the property being landlord owned. I for one wouldnt run a business from a rented shop with a seperate domestic rented flat over it. The banks and building societies need to take a more open view on mixed use property so that families can buy the whole building to both live in and run their business from. At ...
