Break  the force of the waves out at sea, build the reef.

10 Feb 2014

This is exactly what I said in my "what if" post , it is not rocket science. In the second world war we managed to build a artificial harbour that was towed to the coast of France Just don't get the Enviroment Agency involved.

Don't know why, it is a forgone conclusion that the secret society that is Teignbridge Planning Commitee will agree to it.

Read the Telegraph report above and in case you say its the papers read Hansard reporting from parliament, and look at the historic low and high tide lines hat show how high the beach used to be.

Ours is OK Lynne, but my eletricity keeps going off, Western Power have been and suggested that the problem is in the property and not their problem. Oh what  lovely war.

pay @roberta thats what happens in exeter and in venice it is not rocket science, @Paul you walk from teignmouth to dawlish suffering from irritable bowl syndrom and see if you are not gratful for the loos at the bottom of smugglers lane.

for once I agree with roberta, when in Venice two years ago we had to pay 1.5 euros to use a public toilet. I am not suggesting a payment that high but a contribution could be made. In Exeter there are privately run loos that charge 20p  so why cannot this be done in all loos in teignbridge.
