Old Rusty all in place, and now in the process of being "glued together". Pics updated Uploading video to YouTube now of full installation, but given the transfer speed it looks like it will take about 30 minutes (roll on 4G service ;-) Anyone else out there still awake?
New Rusty almost in place :-)
Struts/supports/stairways now in place - pics updated. Just working on a video upload
Cheers, glad for the company ;-) New "Rusty" not long arrived by low loader - just updated pics. Rumours can now be confirmed - its 'a clone' !
Looks like another sleepless night as they replace the bridge tonight, So if I can't sleep, I might as well take photos ;-) I will update throughout the night, along with a video all being well http://www.dawlish.com/photo?albumid=704&groupid=4719
Good point, but not sure the quality will be anywhere good enough. Who do you mean by local tv news? (remembering I am not "local" plus i dont watch much tv)
@webmaster - thanks for that Tried it with my iPad, but it didnt want to work and I ran out of time to swap over to my laptop
@webmaster - thanks for that, video has been uploaded and can be viewed at http://youtu.be/7pZf8NH3kiI
@frederick & @Philip - cheers guys. didn't realise taking night pics would be so frustrating. each of those shots were the best of about 10 taken; either too much light, nott enough or nothing but reflective safety gear glowing when flash was used. Have a video of the actual final lift, when I find out how to upload video here @webmaster ? PS - I was surprised thre was only myself & one ...
