Does that mean no parking on the Strand? If it doesn't, then what's the bloody point? £1.5m for a wider pavement - someone's having a right laugh!!

Interesting to read of a campaign to de-pedestrianise a thoroughfare in Torre. Also interesting to read that Newton Abbot and rural towns and villages are hoping to extend the free Sunday parking scheme to year-round, but that Dawlish and Teignmouth will have to wait until next winter for it to resume. Second class citizens again?

Well said Lazlo. I'm fortunate to have been 'between jobs' for just one week of my entire working life, but I'd like to think that I'm human enough to say that those who want a job deserve better. Those that don't want a job though, they should be made to do community work for their hand outs.
