That sounds like Eastcliff Park. We've only walked that very path the once, but can remember the wall you refer to. Is there an Eastcliff House or Eastcliff Manor perhaps that either used to or still does sit somewhere near the centre of the Park? If so, I'd guess ( and, sorry, but it is only a guess) that the wall was the boundary of that 'estate'.
I'm laughing out loud too.......
Your mum likes me.
Dawlish Has Talent will be flooded with contestants this year! A poet, a comedienne and a monologue from Germaine Greer88! Spoilt rotten - pity the judges.........
Pain in the ass lol. Still, got there in the end! :-)
No it doesn't become void, because the amount we pay for local authority services has not increased, only the afore-mentioned precepts have increased, and these are not considered when determining central funding.
I'd like to offer my agreement with the letter in the Gazette regarding the daff bulbs that are in full bloom along Exeter Road and at the Manor. Well done to all those concerned for their excellent POSITIVE action to visibily improve our town - I too appreciate the effort they made to brighten up Dawlish, and would hope everyone on here would do likewise.
