Car parking required
31 Jan 2012

Several people I know who live in Brunswick Place park there. There is a footpath which takes you down to Barton Crescent at the entrance to the Barton Car Park, that's why so many cars are parked at that particular place in Westcliff. But if you want to be near the station you can park just off Teignmouth Hill, it's often quite full there as a very popular parking spot for people living in Town.

The same place as dozens of other locals, West Cliff Road, I've been parking there for years.

Town Centre

Yep Brazilnut, and delivery people and coaches coming into town from Torquay who need to continue on their journey towards Exeter, don't want to go back out via West Cliff road and down Teignmouth Hill again. Plantation Terrace can't cope so High Street is the only way out of Town, it's going to be a busy road. I don't think people realise just how many delivery vehicles and coaches drive up ...

Brazilnut, you are one of the few who realises that closing the Strand to Traffic will be a nightmare. All the coaches and delivery vehicles, that currently drive up Brunswick Place and exit via the Strand, will now exit up Queen Street and right along High Street to continue up Exeter road. This traffic will of course be joined by all the dozens of vehicles that previously drove up High Street ...

I really couldn't care less, now we have Sainsburys nearby. They will have a big smile on their face now that the Council is pushing people their way. It is going to be quite a sight to see all the traffic that currently turns of Exeter Road and goes up the High Street now coming into Dawlish, up Brunswick Place and up Queeen Street. AHHHHHHHHH, Now I understand, the idea is to bring several ...

Bonus was to be £1,6 million, Cameron said 'he hoped' it would be less than £1m, and by magic it was reduced to £960,000. Another victory for the P.M!!!!. Obviously this deal was pre-arranged, and am sure Hester will be buying the drinks next time he visits Westminster. Labour can shout all they want, a clause in the contract of Fed the Shred meant they could have reduced his pension by 50% but ...

Town Shops Closing !!
21 Jan 2012

Ah, now I understand, it is Sainburys fault that you throw food away, can't quite figure that one out!! You bought it!!!!! You really need to sort yourself out if you throw £10 of food away in a week, that is ridiculous. I think you miss the point entirely, where in the Co-op can I buy things I got from Sainsburys this morning, eg blank CDs, paper for my printer, magazines that the Co-op don't ...

So the Co-op has the odd special that is cheaper than Sainsburys, there will always be deals that are cheaper in one place or another, as Nelson says, Why do so many people shop at Sainsburys then? Maybe because today I bought a ream of paper, blank CDs, several magazines, oh, almost forget, all my groceries, bread, veg, fruit and wine at Sainsburys. Did I go to the Co-op to check out if any of ...
