Deputy Mayor resigns
23 Apr 2012

@Lynne . Just a polite suggestion that if you don't know perhaps you need to ask them directly yourself. Please report their answers on here.

23 Apr 2012

The only time you will find that out Lynne is when councilor Clayson has seen off the remaining Conservatives. Got overhaul power for VFD or New Labour as it really is and gets himself and his croneys elected to TDC where they can cause some real damage. Promoting gay rights perhaps.

St. George's Day

Here Here - should be a day off, we have the least national holidays of all the European countries. So time we added a few extra. We should also make national holidays applicable to all but essential services or pay the old union rate of treble time and a day off in lieu. Thats todays moan over

Banner Town
22 Apr 2012

Has anyone else noticed the sudden influx of cheap & nasty, tacky advertising banners being strung up on all the roadside railings in town. The latest of which being hung across the newly painted viaduct by the Airshow committee. After years of putting pressure on Network Rail to paint the viaduct in an effort to improve its appearance we now find it adorned in this rubbish which could and should ...

Deputy Mayor resigns

1) I think he's just admitted the rate payers line their pockets in some form or other 2) Doesn't actually say what their working together to achieve Just a point, if you stand as an independent doesn't that mean you don't work with anyone else. Another opportunity for Mr Clayson and Co to elect another one of their mates to join them in orchestrating what ever the silent agenda is for our town. Independent my foot New Labour in disguise more like.

Sorry to disappoint but its not going to be McDonalds or KFC for Dawlish, have spoken to both directly with pretty much the same response, no company development in areas with a catchment of less than 30,000 customers locally. The only other option is for someone to take on a Burger King or Subway franchise, but this is a very costly exercise and is certainly not bank fundable. This option also ...

MugOnHead also hard working local business man only difference dont encourage my customers to make a nuisence of themselves on the towns roads. Visit to Marine store this am, cylcle count from town seven, number on cycle path when available one. Number nearly killed by dustbin lorry rather than use cycle path one. Point proven. Agree need cycle paths but need them to be used by law and not at the ...

28 Mar 2012

Noticed this morning the council highway wombles measuring the footpaths along Exeter Road from Elm Grove up towards Marine. Looks like we could be losing more of our lovely character grass verges to Biker Bob and his fellow looney's. There is no point in making anymore cycle paths if there are no laws in place to make the cyclists use them. There's a small bunch of these lycra clad idiots in town ...
