@ SBATT43 Never got a written reply on that one, so I think we all missed something. At the time I was told that they were the main objector to the Tesco/Ladys Mile application and so were entittled to attend and have a say at the Juditial review.

The "Affordable Housing" tittle seems to have no defined parameters. Last nights agents idea and understanding of what they had to supply was made quite clear. Their percentage of affordable houses whether it be 30% or less, will require the client to obtain a normal mortgage and deposit to cover 75% with the developer retaining the remaining 25% of the agreed sale price. @Nelson Who told you I own a private ' Texaco' garage then, and just for interests sake where is it and what is my current petrol price?

Remember the original proposals for this site including then what is now Sainsbury's. The exhibition if memory serves me correctly was at the Langstone Cliff hotel. It was a huge mixed development proposal of commercial units, entertainment facilities, supermarket and houses. @Nelson Glad you are happy with the answer received. I also asked who they where having done some homework and actually found out for myself. Unfortunately they lied. They are however not connected to Millwoods, but on the other hand are not builders either. Will be paying them another visit tomorrow to see if they own upto their real identity.

All the multi-nationals have and use a country wide area grading scale pricing map which gives each store a pricing grade based on its location and what they should be able to charge to maintain a targeted level of business. Dawlish I believe is grade 5 while Teignmouth is 3-4 hence the price difference. An inner city shop in Birmingham for instance would be grade 1-2, it means cheaper prices ...

Thought everyone on here LOVED Sainsbury's with their cheap prices, lots of well paid jobs, not to mention everything they where doing to help regenerate the town and surroundings.
