@Lynne it won't, I meant way way way way in the future ;-)

@burneside what about when Brexit is over?

Moving assets = moving money out of the country. This includes moving jobs. But who cares? The people losing their jobs? The economy?

I wondered if the whole Brexit "thing" had changed the way they will vote in the next general election. I voted Labour for the first time in the last one, I am really unsure who I will in the next one. Labour has been a poor opposition in the last 12 months when they should be taking big advantage of what is a poor government. If you don't mind saying who you voted for last time and if ...

Banks and insurance companies have already moved billions of pounds worth of assets out of the UK. Aviva moved assets to Ireland, as did Barclays. Bank of America is moving to Paris from London. Ford said no deal would cost them over 600 million and would consider moving operations. Lloyds of London who has been in London for 330 years is moving part of it's business to the EU. Moneygram moved to ...

There was no indication of how we were going to leave. If we had started discussions with the EU straightaway rather than waste time then come up with a plan that we had no idea if the EU would agree to it was extremely arrogant. The side I voted for lost and that I accepted, awful decision, but accepted. The shambles since, businesses moving operations, businesses closing due to uncertainty ...

I don't remember no deal Brexit being on the ballot paper? There were no options as to what any deal would look like. How can you say it is the will of the people for no deal? I agree the result of a non-binding referendum was promised to be upheld by the PM who then ran away was won by leave but it say leave with a deal.

@Dil the EU funding has to be agreed by ALL member states after being discussed by the EU council and EU parliament. Some countries pay in more and receive less in funding based on a number of factors. The UK is the 4th biggest contributor to the EU budget. Do you know why? Because we have 4th biggest GNI of the EU countries. Germany pays almost double what we do, France 2nd pay over 7% more than ...

To be honest the Leave campaign didn't overspend by that much and I don't believe that overspend had anything to do with the way the referendum went. £9 million on a leaflet that was a pretty awful promotion for remaining was a waste of money.  Both amounts are a pittance compared with how much the Brexit process has cost so far! What did make a difference because it came up in discussions ...

" Surely the withdraw from E.U. is more important than someones maternity leave." First, that was one example picked out by burneside from a very small list of benefits of being in the EU that responded to. It isn't a case of one or the other. You committed both the strawman and false dichotomy logical fallacies in one! Second, we were told nothing would change but now you are happy ...
