Whoever made the call to remove the bus lay bys needs to be committed to a nuthouse. I presume though that no actual index-linked pesnion drawing civil servant would do anything so rash as stick their hand up and take responsibility. Cars simply overtake the stationary buses, obvously.... right into the path of fast-travelling oncoming vehicles. Can't be long before there is a fatal crash.
