Clegg doesn't know pension figures Lembit as pathetic as always And now this..... Can we really take these jokers seriously? I'm not talking to you' says Sanders Wednesday, September 17, 2008, 09:46 TORBAY MP Adrian Sanders has refused to explain why he blew a fuse in a spat with a former spin doctor at the Liberal Democrat's annual conference in Bournemouth. The resort's MP hit the ...

You'd better believe it! Look at the recent vandalism at the yet to be completed skate park. A sign of things to come? We have Councillors whose only aim was to herd all the skaters into one space in the hope they would contain any so-called nuisance element and control them. What they forgot to realise (as they are so out of touch), is that skaters do not wish to be hemmed in and that the very ...

If it's airbrushed twee reporting/pr you require then I suggest you stick to Westcountry/Spotlight News. These same posters seem keen to avoid/stop Council debate, which is puzzling, as Council business impinges on every aspect of our town. I can only assume they do this out of ...

Good point Viaduct. You only have to look at our mayor protheroe. When it comes to money collecting or posing for supercilious photographs, you can't keep him out of the local rag. But when it comes to serious debate on serious subjects that involve Dawlish, where is his input in the local media? Have you noticed how he never get's involved publicly at any length, about the town and the residents ...

Trouble won't be far away when this new drug/alcohol youth centre is built/opened. Then our councillors will make themselves out as champions against social disruption when it was in fact them that caused the problem in the first place with the sanctioning of this insane project. Watch curfews and the like emanate from the council chamber as they 'use' this unrest as an excuse to push forward ...

Why do Dawlish Town Council never include such information openly on their website? Are they that behind the times with technology? Or perhaps doing all they can to hide their malfeasance from as many residents as possible?

Is this a result of climate change and coastal erosion? Bay beach shut in waste alert Saturday, September 06, 2008, 09:57 PART of a South Devon beach has been closed to swimmers after another sea water alert. Goodrington Beach North was closed to bathers yesterday after a member of the public reported discolouration in the water off the beach. Signs were put up by Torbay Council advising ...
