Yellow suits the Lib Dems

Fracking will contaminate the water table, adversely effect agriculture and the natural environment and undermine the foundations of buildings in the area. Plus it shows the lack of commitment this government has to reducing our carbon emissions. Dawlish like most Devon towns only has one industry and that's tourism, fracking would probably put an end to that too and reduce employment. Who'd ...

@stephen15 I read the 'if' the first time, so what? The scenario is hypothetical, I was questioning the simplistic view that everyone is either Tory or Labour.

Outside composting toilets are a good idea if you have the space, we waste so much water flushing our toilets. Developers don't consider things like 'gardens' as residents' well-being, recreation and relaxation has nothing to do with profit margins and shareholders investments.

Next Up - Volunteer to pay extra council tax for further reductiions in public services.

@stephen15 Perhaps Tom just resents having to wait for a politician to open the wall before he can go for a stroll, and they just happen to be a Tory (Anne-Marie Morris). Think about plant selection, growth rates and foliage and consider what you can feasibly manage and compost yourself, it's not just about what looks pretty in the garden centre or on TV, so some big changes might be needed. Forget GoGreen and the like, talk to your ...

I'm getting sick of hearing about the plight of poor landowners, how come we never hear about those who are really suffering under the Tories? Do the Lib Dem councillors represent anyone other than a local farmer, a few Cockwood separatists and gardeners? It's all so very middle class.
