It's at a very accessible location.  You can access from Sainsburys, through the new estate and then a kissing gate to the countryside park.  I do it regularly.

Sorry if there's a newer thread on this as I can't find it.  Just noticed as I walked past that the Elephant Rock Cafe is now opened at Langstone Rock, the sign said today is the first day.  Looks likey they've done quite a bit of work on it, including a decking area to the right which I'm assuming with have tables and chairs soon.  Didn't have time to stop but I thought it was nice to see.

I've also completed a couple of courses at Dartington, not impressed with the comment about it.

Not sure if you're referring to Gay's but despite being on the 'wrong side' of the brook they seem to be one of the shops in Dawlish that does really well.  Often there's queues outside for their cream teas, pasties and (I understand) cheesy Steves!  They must be doing something right!

I have to say online shopping has been a godsend for someone who has a child with a 36" leg.  School clothes would have been impossible unless I'd made my own which as I'm not a stay at home mum wouldn't have happened.  Same goes for size 12 school shoes.
