@Cassandra - if it goes ahead, he will certainly make a small amount of change from it. as to the impact on those who already live in the surrounding area. i'm sure mr stone has their best interests at heart!
As has been said above. I am not saying all people who are tenants in housing association homes are like this, but it only takes the one percentile to ruin it for everyone. It's is only the ignorant who would reply to my comment in the extreme. You know who I am referring to
I agree charity starts at home. Why does our governement continue to throw hundreds of millions of hard working citizens taxes away on any situation other than our own. If the U.K. was over flowing with money I wouldn't have an issue with it. The U.K. is falling apart and all the government is thinking about is photo opportunities and getting back into power at the next general election.

If you had a department for cleaning you know the last person who would be kicked out would be the one in charge! Why should the area suffer to save money which is in turn then wasted at townhall?
@FredBassett - apologies, i actually meant those at teignbridge. no disrespect meant to our dawlish councillors.
Dawlish is a seaside resort and also an area of increasingly old people. Closing facilities such as W.C's is not the answer to saving on the bills the council has to spend from their budget. I've seen very little info about thinning out the headcount at the townhall. If services are being reduced and/or eliminated why is the town council still such a large, sloath like beast. I would rather see ...
