Did I mention any names? I think not.
Is this going to be the last year of Party in the Park, Carnival Week, and any other big event that relies on the open space of the Lawn? What about the Air show, as they rely on the Large Open Space of the Lawn for the static display the day before, so will it be the end of that spectacular event also? I sincerely hope not, for everyones sake. (Standing by for the accusations ...
@Margaret Swift Well said. Some of the people on here are all to quick to play the 'haters' card and it is they who should look at themselves at times in their 'vociferous' statements and their accusations of 'bullying' to anyone making an innocent statement that they don't agree with or goes against what they say.
Agreed Clive. What a fantastic sight it will be. Fingers crossed for nice weather.
Takes place on Sunday 8th June and just found on their website that the venue has changed. Not sure what time it starts but generally 9:30 am. _____________________________________________________________________ NEW VENUE WATERSIDE FIELD CHURCH ROAD POWDERHAM EX6 8JJ Follow signs to Starcross Yacht Club (SYC).
@Clive . Yes, making them rebuild (and pay) would be a very good punishment for the scum, but what will happen if that did go ahead? Their 'Human Rights' will be violated because they have been subjected to public humiliation. Sorry, but the PC/human rights brigade have ruined this country.
@ MrsC What destination was that?
Flybe a budget airline? I dont call £129 Exeter-Guernsey-Exeter, or £146 Exeter-Jersey-Exeter cheap, and that is without a suitcase, just a small carry on bag..
Well done to all those who participated and such professionalism was shown by the pipers during the heavy rain. I loved the little girl dancing a lot and it was great when John Millin went down from the bandstand and danced with her. Amazing Grace . Oh wow. When all the pipers joined in, how stirring was that!!! A superb afternoons entertainment and again, well done to all concerned.
Looking forward to it. Hope the weather is kind for all those taking part. Starts 3pm from the Museum and marching down to the (lovely) Bandstand.
